Bring a Group or Club to the Inn for a One-of-a-Kind Experience.

For over 15 years, the owners and staff at the Inn have given special effort to providing groups the opportunity to enjoy Edenton's past and present, and to experience the quality of the community as well as the town's beauty.   Bring your Garden Club, Museum Guild, Antique Collector's Club, or any group that appreciates Historic Preservation, elegant accommodations, gracious hospitality, outstanding food, tours of private mansions, musical entertainment, and the beauty and sense of community found in the special town of Edenton.

We work closely with you to provide activities and entertainment to fit the needs of your group.  Our group programs often include a private tour of several of Edenton's private historic mansions, where the homeowners conduct the tour explaining the historical significance of their home.  We can also arrange for your group to take the Historic Edenton Walking Tour where you can visit many of our museum homes, and the Chowan County Courthouse (1767).  Half-day excursions to surrounding historic sites - Hope Plantation and Sommerset Plantation are also quite popular.  

In addition to your activities and tours, we can provide afternoon tea and refreshments.  Or, enjoy a cocktail reception hosted by Arch and Jane Edwards, the owners of Inn, at their private waterfront plantation home, Mount Auburn (c.1805).  Or, have a cocktail reception at the Barker House (c. 1780 and 1810), located on Edenton Bay, and the home of Edenton's Historic Commission.  We provide a full country breakfast each morning, and we would be happy to provide either a sit-down lunch or box lunches.  After dinner, enjoy musical entertainment performed by the Edenton Community Male Chorus - a favorite of our guests!
